Rhine Valley and Tyrol

One of the nice things about this scheduled tour is that we're on a coach bus which takes a lot of back roads to get to our destinations. This allows for some great scenery that I wouldn't necessarily be able to see if we we're just taking train routes. Here I'll post some of the magnificent scenery we saw in Germany and Austria.

German village along the Rhine Valley

Making our way into Austria. Here is a section of the Alps mountain range.

Alps water is a tealish color. Very beautiful.

It's difficult to capture the vastness of the Alps mountain range. If you can spot a red speck in this photo, that's actually a climber scaling the face.

This was on our way to Tyrol

We took the Bummelbahn up the mountain.

It's a converted Range Rover with a passenger trailer attached to the back.

Some of the views up the mountain.

Cows.

More scenery.

An old church.
