Paris - Day 2

Got after it on day 2.

We began our extensive walk around the city at the Music Academy.

Arc de Triumph

The military museum

Napolean.

Inside the tomb of Napolean.

A nice Triumph spotted while waking.

One of the oldest churches in France.

A Parisian side alley.

Notre Dame

Adjusted the lighting so you can see the stained glass colors.

The Louvre. The price of admission was free for the day so we didn't have much excuse to not go see the Mona Lisa. Apparently, the only reason the Mona Lisa is so famous is because it was stolen and missing for 2 years.

Aphrodite

The crowds at the Mona Lisa.

She's behind bullet proof glass, has 5 guards watching over, and who knows what else protecting it. Might be the most heavily guarded painting in the world.

This wouldn't be a good post without some of the other nice bikes and autos I saw along our walk.

This was also the last night of the blitz tour. Here's the last pics I got with our tour manager, Magdi, and Megan.

Josh and I decided to extend our stay in Paris to check out a few more sites. See those in my next post.
